I have been working on it since the blossoms appeared in my back yard in May. These days I find it harder to get the time and the energy for my work. I am always so happy to be in my workshop, losing myself in my prints.
I missed the Roycroft Festival weekend because my grand daughter near NYC was graduating and we wanted to be there. Two of my friends took over and demonstrated screen printing in the Copper Shop that weekend. But I hadn't sent out postcards or promoted the weekend in any way. They had a manageble audience.
In the past, I have posted screen printing steps on this blog when I hadn't finished the print. Then if I didn't like the print I still had to finish it. Yes, sometimes I go through all of the steps and end up with something that I just don't like. It is almost impossible to know how print will turn out before it is done.
But, I am reasonably happy with this one!
I will go through the steps for you in the near future.
