THE THIRD COLOR |
Again, I repeated the whole process. I painted screen drawing fluid wherever I wanted a darker, warmer gray-brown to print. I was able to paint right over the areas that are white and the first gray -they are already blocked out. The reduction process could go on and on.
After printing this third color - I liked the way the print looked - I could have just stopped at this point. But, that isn't the look that I wanted. I am going back to the first screen that I made using the photographic process. After printing some proofs, including the one on my screen bed, I cleaned the screen of ink and put it away in a safe place.
You can go back to my post of August 29 to review how that was done.
I'm very curious to see how the fourth color will complete my print.
